As well as for Elios, UNISOLAR® triple junction amorphous thin film is the technology used for Elios Deck.
The photovoltaic laminate is glued and seamed to its own metal tray (Deck) and then clipped into the Riverclack® roof sheet without any through perforation.
This assures a full reliability of the solar roofing system and long-life.

Thanks to the fact that roof covering and photovoltaic system are separated (from a physical and functional point of view), Elios Deck elements can be easily installed and replaced in every moment without compromising the roof impermeability.

Architectural flexibility


The UNI-SOLAR® photovoltaic modules are made up of triple junction thin film silicon solar cells, ensuring an exceptional output.

The total efficiency results as the sum of the 3 different amorphous sub-cells working at different light wave lengths.

Solar panels using thin film technology perform better than all their crystalline silicon counterparts, having a better behaviour at high temperatures or in low light conditions, orientation and kWp installed being equal.

The UNI-SOLAR® photovoltaic module guatantees a good tolerance to light-shade effect caused by the proximity of trees or buildings, thanks to by-pass diodes connected across each cell.
