The flat roof metal covering RIVERCLACK® is the solution, in industrial as well as in civil building, which complies with the latest architectural trends.

Riverclack is a concealed fixing standing seam roofing system, worldwide patented by ISCOM, and it’s the result of constant research and testing which have seen it used in pan-European large-scale projects for over twenty years.

Bringing together the structural performance levels of high tensile metals and truly innovative geometry, its unique drainage joint is guarantee of full waterproofing whilst its original fixing system allows an incredible installation speed, free thermal moviments and an electric and thermal break between the roof and the below structure.

The panels 550mm wide are manufatured in customized continuous lengths both in the factory and on site.
RIVERCLACK SYSTEM IN SEVEN POINTS
1. FULLY WATERPROOF
Thanks to the draining joint, free of sealant and gaskets, this roof system is fully watertight even if it is flooded.
2. PERFORATIONS LESS LOCKING SYSTEM
Metal sheets are fixed on the below support structure without any through holes allowing a free thermal expansion.
Projects with sheets length more than 100 m have been realized so far.
3. DURABILITY
The sheets made of aluminium, copper or stainless steel are unchangeable in time and their durability will be more than hundred years. All elements are 100% recyclable.
4. WALK – ABILITY
It’s free in any sheet’s area, walking doesn’t leave any deflection even after many carelessness tramples.
5. EASY INSTALLATION
Fast, mark out free, and also easy for non skilled labour.
6. LOW COSTS
Long-life, no maintenance and installation quickness are the properties that make it low cost either for big or for small works.
7. SELFBENDING
RIVERCLACK sheets can self curve down to a 20 m minimum radius (mill finish aluminium thickness 0,7), simply by fixing the system while following the curve shape of the below structure.

THE DRAINAGE CHANNEL
The integrated drainage channel is the real guarantee of tightness.

The first cone-shaped protection, in case of roof completely flooded, lets pass through much less water than the inside duct is able to drain, so water will be easily drained to gutter.

The drainage channel shape is a rising section pipeline allowing a growing water flow proportional to the water level increase.

When the roof is totally flooded the integrated channel contains much less water than it could be able to contain.
SHAPE AND FIXING SYSTEM
The system is characterized by an exceptional ease of installation, free of any seal, gasket or through perforations.

Fasten system is made by reinforced polyamide brackets to be placed along each spacer.
They allow free thermal movement without any sheet to sheet friction preventing in the same time thermal bridges or electro corrosion between RIVERCLACK and the under structure.

The system is installed using simple foot pressure onto the purpose designed polyamide bracket fixed to the spacer by two screws.

CERTIFICATION
The RIVERCLACK® system is certified by the major international certification Institutes.

WALK-ABILITY
Load tests have been carried out on a 0.7mm th. aluminium RIVERCLACK® sheet using a rubber-clad piston designed to simulate human foot traffic. Either dynamic or static-dynamic tests have demonstrated product high performances. RIVERCLACK roof system can be safely and fully walked up and down.
WATERPROOFING
The test has been carried out on 19.50 m long 0.7 thick aluminium sheets laid down with a 0.3 % slope; using the sheets as the base of a pool filled with water, after 45 days, only a few drips have been detected from the draining joint. No leakage in roof intrados has been found, moreover also the bottom part was entirely dry. RIVERCLACK system guarantees full waterproofing.
WIND SUCTION LOAD RESISTANCE
A wind resistance test has been performed on 0.7mm thick aluminium sheets and at 1200mm span. A purposely designed plastic airbag has been progressively inflated under the sheets to generate an underneath pressure and simulate the effects of a wind vortex passing over the roof, up to the requested loads.
The achieved results are the demonstration of the roof system excellent performances, even in strong gusts of wind, till more than 700 daN/m2.
